Ranking Theatrical Spider-Man Films Based On First Impressions

 DISCLAIMER: I might come back and update this post as more theatrical Spider-Man films are released.

With the fact that I recently did rankings for all theatrically-released Batman and Superman films, I realized that it was now time to do the same for the other superhero who is often considered part of “the big three;” Spider-Man. And as always, this ranking is based strictly on first impressions. Also, I will not be counting those three 1970’s films, as those were only released on TV here in the United States…

Welp, here we go:

Loved it

1.Avengers: Infinity War

4.Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse

5.Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse

7.Spider-Man: Homecoming

I liked it but didn’t love it

8.Avengers: Endgame

Wasn’t sure how to feel about it

9.Spider-Man: No Way Home

10.The Amazing Spider-Man

11.Spider-Man: Far From Home

Bad, but at least it’s funny

12.Spider-Man 3

13.Venom

14.Madame Web

Too much going on (gave me a headache)

15.The Amazing Spider-Man 2

Didn’t watch it

16.Venom: Let There Be Carnage

17.Morbius

And there you have it! I’m curious how they’ll eventually follow-up No Way Home (assuming they still do). Not really looking forward to more of those villain spin-offs, though…
